Who I am Pontiac, MI is my hometown (yes that is where they used to build Pontiac automobiles). I have six brothers. I survived the racial tension of the late 60s and forced busing of the early 70s. Those events helped mold me into the person I am today. I was the first person in my family to graduate from college. I have a B.S. in Elementary Education from Oakland University in Rochester, MI and an MBA from Rivier College in Nashua, NH. My husband, Jim, of 30+ years works for EMC. We have two dogs, Gigi and Katie and several old cars. What I do My true forte is with numbers and money. I've tracked hundreds of millions of dollars through our many accounts over the years and never lost a penny, although Scott keeps saying he wishes I would find a few extra pennies in his bank account! What I've done I have worked on various committees for the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce and am a graduate of Leadership Greater Nashua Class of 2002. What else I do My interests are varied and eclectic -- Education, Animal Welfare, History, the Environment, Astronomy Learning is important to me. I am currently pursuing my second Masters, in Knitting. My future business card will read BS in Ed, MBA, and MK. How cool is that? I am the co-creator of Spring Pie Festival and National Pie Week. I also celebrate Pi Day! |
